The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) has some fabulous programs! One of them is their “Community of Learning” program. This a free virtual program that is offered at 1PM (DC time) most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The topics vary from day to day and the ages skew younger sometimes, older others. There is a wide range of topics so it looks like there is a little something for everyone.
I have registered the Global Division for each one of these sessions – starting next week, September 13th and ending in December (they will add the winter sessions later). If your child is free at 1PM on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and is looking for something to do, you can log them on to one of these classes, if they are interested. If your child is working with the Global Division at this time (as three of our students are), you can let me (Amy) know, and we will work it out so that your child can attend.
I will post the classes on this site – and will post them out two weeks in advance (though since we are just getting starting, this first post doesn’t quite meet that timeline). If your child wants to attend, let me know and/or use the link that will be provided in their Global Division google classroom stream. Below are next week’s and the following week’s class offerings.
