SET: The Game of Visual Perception

Coming to a mailbox near you soon (maybe arrived already by the time you read this :)! We have sent everyone stateside (and will check in with our international crew) the card game, SET.

For those of you not familiar with this game, it is a really wonderful game to play as a family (and it can also be played solo). There is no particular age, education level, etc. that makes you better at SET. Those who are able to see patterns visually are usually pretty good at it. Those who are able to keep track of multiple attributes are also usually pretty good at it.

We sent this to you so that you can enjoy a game together that is FUN and brain building.

Here is a video telling how to play the game – there are lots of others so if this one doesn’t grab you, just search for another one.

We would love to see some pictures of you and your child playing this game together so email them to amy.oswalt@labschool.org or drop them in the shared picture folder on ParentSquare. Happy gaming!
